Data Governance & Data Literacy [34]

Don't create new roles, but develop people who create value, inspired by DATA!

THE DATA ECONOMIST

You think the existing roles in the company can't do this and therefore you need new roles because it would be easier? Appreciate people and empower them to develop their role and create value for the company in the future. It's fun to be successful together!

  • You don't need a Chief Data & AI Officer, you need a Chief Digital Officer who understands People, Data, Processes and Digital Ecosystems and manages them as one unit.(In reality, you need a data-inspired CEO - Chief Executive Officer! 😜)
  • You don't need a Data Steward, you need Process Owners/Managers who understand data and manage Processes and Data as one unit.
  • You don't need a Data Custodian, you need Data Engineers who understand good technical Data Logistics and manage Processes and Data as one unit together with the Process Owner/Manager.
  • You don't need Data Product Owners, you need Product Managers who understand data as an important part of their products and manage great products with added customer value.

You have everything you need in the company, help the people in the organization to develop into Data Inspired People. This is your job!
